The Case Of Zambezi Portland Cement Gets New Direction

The case between Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the Finsbury Investments for the ownership of Zambezi Portland Cement is long pending and has been going on for almost 10 years now. Even after numerous case hearings, proceedings and statements, the court has not been able to arrive at one decision now. Numerous factors have been contributed to this delay. Sometimes the judge was not present and other times, the judge only got transferred. During several occasions, the Ventriglias and their team were not present and made several excuse to skip court proceedings. All these events and the slow response from the law resulted in this much of delay in this high-profile case.


However, the current announcement made by the judge handling this case is a positive news for Dr. Mahtani and his team. As per the judge, the court hearing has been closed. This means no more hearing or proceedings will be allowed on the court. The judge has provided the time period till December 2017 for both parties to submit their documents, evidences and other written and oral submissions before the court. After looking into these evidences, the court will announce its final judgment. This is certainly good news for Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s team and bad news for the Ventriglias. It has been observed that the Ventriglias have always successfully skipped the judgement or court orders whenever they were required to submit evidences or present themselves. However, this time the judge will provide his final judgement based on the evidence submitted and as per popular opinions, Dr. Mahtani’s side is much stronger than the other side.

Most industrialists and common people associated with the factory are eagerly waiting for the judgement and expect Dr. Mahtani to win.
