In this final verdict presented on 31st January 2019, justice Mwinde declared that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the actual owner of the Portland Cement Zambia factory. This verdict was given based on the available evidences such as transfer of one billion kwachas from Dr. Rajan Mahtani owned Finsbury Investments to Portland Cement Zambia. The evidence also included original shareholders’ agreement which was made in the year 2007 and confirmed that Dr. Mahtani took over 58 percent shares of the Portland Cement Zambia factory. Based on these evidences and several other testimonials, it was finally proved that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is indeed the actual owner of the Portland Cement Zambia factory. 

Now that the actual ownership of the Portland Cement Zambia factory has been declared, the next task for Dr. Rajan Mahtani is extremely critical. This task is to improve the productivity and efficiency of the factory which reduced significantly during the case proceedings. The aim is to make Portland Cement Zambia factory effective and productive again.
