The fight for the Portland Cement Zambia was over when the higher Court of Appeal announced its decision on 31st January 2019. Dr. Rajan Mahtani fought for the legal takeover of the factory for more than a decade and this was a critical decision given by a higher court judgement. However, it seems like the Ventriglia family did not take their losing of the case very well, despite the fact that it was a transparent and authentic judgement. Be that as may, the Ventriglia family chose to disturb the smooth tasks of Portland Cement by and by testing the Zambezi Portland decision of higher Court of Appeal at the Supreme Court. Notwithstanding, the Ventriglia family didn't direct their due perseverance. It was discovered that a basic legitimate prerequisite for enlisting claims against other court decisions is that the cases should be enrolled inside 14 days of the actual decision. Since the choice from higher Court of Appeal went ahead 31st January 2019, the appropriate time for making such cases would have been by 15th of February 2019. Notwithstanding, the Ventriglia family neglected to do as such and made their cases solely after 15 months of the last decision. Besides, the SC makes a decision about additionally concurred that the case made by the Ventriglia family is past the ward of the Supreme Court considering the dubious idea of the conditions wherein the case was set up in any case.
As a result, this appeal from the Ventriglia family was effectively rejected by the Supreme Court Zambia.
